1. Data Controller and Contact

TVShow.com.tr is operated as an independent hobby and community project. For the purposes of this notice, data processing related to the service is evaluated within that independent project structure available at tvshow.com.tr. 2. Data We Collect

• Account data: email, username, display name, password hash (Argon2id).
• Community data: ratings, reviews, lists, follows, likes.
• Watch data: watch status, per-episode watch marks, recommendation preferences.
• TV assistant data: with your explicit consent, assistant messages, generated responses and recommendations, consent records, and usage counters.
• Technical data: IP/request metadata, error logs, abuse/rate-limit signals.
• Product analytics: when you consent, pseudonymous visit/session identifiers, route, content IDs, product events, and Web Vitals. Form values, search text, and private-message contents are excluded from analytics records.
• Correspondence data: support emails, legal notices, copyright complaints, and content removal requests.
• Consent data: product-analytics and advertising preferences.

3. Why We Process Data

• To run accounts, authentication, and core product features.
• To enable ratings, reviews, lists, and social interactions.
• To provide personalized recommendations and improve product quality.
• To prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and security incidents.
• To review rights complaints, legal notices, and content removal requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.
• To report aggregate conversion, activation, retention, reliability, and performance for users who consent.

4. Legal Bases (KVKK / GDPR)

• Contract performance: account and platform service delivery.
• Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, product analytics.
• Consent: optional product analytics, advertising, and AI TV assistant processing.
• Legal obligation: responding to lawful requests by authorities.

5. Sharing and Processors

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data on a limited basis with service providers and technical processors needed to operate the service:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Authentication, email, and security tooling providers.
• Integrated third-party advertising technologies and related technical services; when those services load, they may receive IP address, browser, and similar technical data.
• AI service provider: only when you separately consent to the TV assistant, your message and TV viewing, list, and rating data are transferred to generate chat responses or recommendations. Your name, username, and email are not sent. The provider operates outside Turkey; data may be processed in countries outside Turkey and may be used to improve services or models under the provider's current terms. The assistant does not research the web.

Depending on the provider, some technical processing may take place on systems located outside Turkey.

6. Retention Periods

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Community content is retained until deletion by you, moderation action, or account deletion.
• Technical/security logs are retained for limited, proportionate periods.
• Product analytics events are retained for no more than 397 days and are then automatically deleted.
• TV assistant conversations and consent records are retained until account deletion; withdrawing consent stops new transfers.
• When deletion is requested, related personal data is purged within a reasonable window.

7. Security Measures

• Passwords are stored with Argon2id hashing.
• Traffic is protected using TLS/HTTPS.
• Authorization checks, rate limiting, and monitoring are enforced.
• Least-privilege access controls are used for operational systems.

8. Privacy Preferences

We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for necessary account, language, and security functionality. Product analytics and advertising are separate optional choices. When analytics is rejected, the browser does not send product events to the analytics endpoint. When advertising is rejected, Google AdSense and site-rendered ad areas do not load. You may change these preferences later. TV assistant consent is separate and can be withdrawn from the assistant page.

9. Your Rights

• Request access to your personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion in applicable cases.
• Object to processing or withdraw consent where relevant.

10. Children's Privacy

The service is intended for users aged 13 and older; it is not designed as a children's service or an adult-content platform. If we become aware that data from a child under 13 has been provided, we will take prompt steps to remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-product or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
