Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By browsing TVShow or creating an account, you agree to these Terms to the extent they apply to your use. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account-only and community features. Mandatory rights granted by applicable law are not limited by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live requires a parent or legal guardian to authorize your use or the processing of your data, you may use TVShow only with that authorization. You may not use the service if doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Accounts and Sign-In

• Provide accurate information, choose an appropriate username, and keep access to your account secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
• You may sign in with email and password or, when available, Google. Google's own terms also apply when you choose that option.
• A Google-created account receives a temporary TVShow username until you choose another available username.
• Do not sell, transfer, impersonate, or create accounts to evade a restriction or misuse the service.

4. The Service

TVShow is an independent community service for discovering television shows and anime, recording viewing activity, creating ratings and lists, receiving recommendations, and interacting with other members. Features, catalog entries, availability information, recommendations, and limits may change as the service develops. Some optional features require separate consent or an account.

5. Community Conduct

You must not:

• harass, threaten, hate, defame, stalk, impersonate, or expose another person's private information;
• publish unlawful, exploitative, pornographic, infringing, or seriously harmful material;
• send spam, manipulate engagement, coordinate false reports, or misrepresent automated activity as human activity;
• bypass access controls, rate limits, privacy settings, blocks, or security measures;
• scrape, automate, probe, disrupt, or overload the service without written authorization; or
• use TVShow or another person's contributions in a way that violates applicable rights or law.

6. Your Content

You keep ownership of reviews, comments, list descriptions, and other original content you submit. You give TVShow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and present the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal records, thread-preserving tombstones, or copies already shared by others where continued retention is lawful and necessary. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content.

7. Discussions, Events, and Spoilers

Episode discussions and community event pages may contain predictions and spoilers. Use the available spoiler control honestly and do not deliberately expose material that another member has chosen to hide. TVShow conversation prompts are discussion starters, not user endorsements or guarantees about an episode. Event dates are based on available catalog information and may change.

8. Reports and Moderation

Members may report accounts or content they reasonably believe violates these Terms. Reports must not be used for retaliation or manipulation. Authorized moderators may review relevant context, dismiss a report, limit visibility, remove or restore content, preserve a thread tombstone, or take proportionate account action where necessary. Report counts alone do not decide an outcome. Contact [email protected] to question a moderation decision or submit a legal removal request.

9. Intellectual Property

TVShow's original software, design, branding, and editorial material are protected by applicable rights. These Terms do not transfer ownership of TVShow or third-party intellectual property. Rights owners may send a sufficiently detailed copyright or trademark notice to [email protected].

10. Third-Party Services

Show metadata, images, availability information, advertisements, sign-in services, AI features, and external trailer or viewing links may depend on third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use or open their services. TVShow does not control their content, availability, security, or later changes and does not guarantee that catalog or viewing information is complete or current.

11. Service Changes

We may add, change, limit, pause, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, respond to third-party changes, or improve the product. We will use reasonable care with stored account data and provide notice when a material change requires it, but no specific feature or catalog entry is guaranteed to remain available indefinitely.

12. Account Closure

You may delete your account through account settings. We may restrict or close an account when reasonably necessary for serious or repeated violations, safety, legal compliance, or protection of the service. Deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that logically need to survive account closure, including rights, lawful records, and liability terms, continue to apply.

13. Disclaimers and Liability

TVShow is provided on an “as available” basis. Recommendations, ratings, community posts, event dates, and third-party availability are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. To the extent permitted by law, TVShow is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by outages, user conduct, or third-party services. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, community rules, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be announced through an appropriate in-product notice or available contact channel before they take effect where required. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means the updated Terms apply, subject to rights that require separate consent.

15. Law and Contact
